What better way to end the year than with a beautiful sunset? :)
"From now on, I am going to grab the good times with both arms. I am going to walk outside and feel the sun on my face and learn to laugh, really laugh again. Most of all, I'm going to take the love that comes my way and hold on to it for dear life. Sometimes we don't need new scenery, just new eyes." ~ Dawn Miller

Hurricane Sandy Coverage, as Captured through Instagram
Click here to see a slideshow of pre- and post-Hurricane Sandy photos, all taken with Instagram by five professional photographers hired by Time Magazine. It's interesting to me to see just how much social media sites and apps are used these days to capture, reflect, share, and document life, not just day by day, but moment by moment.

Instagram: Recent Sunset
Like Camera Awesome, Instagram is a neat app I use on ocassion to take pictures on my phone, and it has neat filter and border effects. I don't use it as often as Camera Awesome because I don't always want the square shape. I don't tend to do much with the social side of it, either, but you're welcome to check out my page here. I have recently discovered a neat website to use with Instagram photos, though-- it's called StickyGram, and you can get get magnets done of the photos you take, sold in sets of 9, and they're the same size as what you see on your phone. Neat gift idea, I'm thinking... :)
