"...I've become so numb I can't feel you there
Become so tired so much more aware
I'm becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you..."

"...Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all,
And then some you don't want..."

"How do you cool your lips
After a summers kiss
How do you rid the sweat
After the body bliss
How do you turn your eyes
From the romantic glare
How do you block the sound
Of a voice you'd know anywhere
Oh, I really should have known
By the time you drove me home
By the vagueness in your eyes
Casual good-byes
By the chill in your embrace
The expression on your face
That told me
You might have some advice to give
On how to be
Insensitive
How do you numb your skin
After the warmest touch
How do you slow your blood
After the body rush
How do you free your soul
After you've found a friend
How do you teach your heart
It's a crime to fall in love again
Oh, you probably won't remember me
It's probably ancient history
I'm one of the chosen few
Who went ahead and fell for you
I'm out of vogue, I'm out of touch
I fell too fast, I feel too much
I thought that you might have
Some advice to give on how to be
Insensitive..."

Was I blind? Too trusting? Too assuming? Or just human...
Was it all the real thing? Or just an act? I suppose it's best to assume the first...
This much I know...I lost my best friend/boyfriend in one day, with little to no forewarning. I thought I had a good thing going...but I guess I didn't know so much, after all.
Stupid boy...stupid me...
Pray for me...last week I was detached from it all, but this week I'm feeling really sarcastic and somewhat angry. I just want all the feelings about it gone...

We could have another morning word session about well anything and see if maybe this time we speak english... did I say that?
Susan, sorry to hear about your loss. I think the answer to the question you pose is that you're human. I've been on the receiving end of the "I really didn't see it coming." It sucks (and can drive someone kinda mental for a bit). I'll pray for you, for your heart, and for grace enough for healing for today.
I'm sorry Susan, I just saw this! While I'm sad that it didn't work out, it sounds like you're hanging in there and I'm glad you're okay. I miss you guys. :(
