Gnarled Tree

Not everybody gets the pictures I take, or why I choose to take a picture of one thing over another, but that's okay-- it's an artist's (photographer's) perogative, right?
I love photographing objects with character, whether it be an old gnarled (or dead) tree, an old weathered fence, or a building left from an era that's long since passed. Sure, I like taking pictures of nice, new shiny things, but there's something about old and/or "different" things that just fascinates me.
