"We wouldn't hold a 12-year-old." ~Rock Hill, S.C., police spokesman Lt. Jerry Waldrop, on a 12-year-old boy arrested-- on the prompting of his mother-- for opening a Christmas present early. The boy, unnamed by local press due to his age, was charged as a juvenile for petty larceny and released the same day.
